[The next time Nagito crosses paths with Kel in the oasis, he waves Kel down.] Good afternoon, Kel-kun! [Nagito sticks a sticker right on Kel's forehead. It's a cartoon sticker of Makoto's face with a speech bubble saying ""I CAN AND I WILL".]
[Kel? He looks confused and does wrinkle his forehead before turning around to look at his reflection in a flat piece of metal. A squint, a moment to understand what it's saying and he starts chuckling, raising both hands up and agreeing with the sticker in question.]
YOU CAN AND YOU WILL, BUDDY! THAT IS THE SPIRIT!
[He does support positivity, after all! He's... totally not yelling there, truly..]
[A wink, a finger gun, Kel grins and cannot contain the teasing mood hitting him.]
Good to see you're oh so very open about your adoration for that guy. Stickers with his face? That's even more than I'd do for my crush if I had one. [He just allows a few seconds to pass before speaking again, just waiting for the thing to sink long enough before giving Nagito a way out. Kel is not that evil.] Well, I said 'crush' because stickers with one's face seems like a LOT, you get what I mean, right? I was being silly there.
[Nagito looks a little surprised at the word choice.] Ah, does it come across that way? [It's true: Nagito had no idea that's how it seemed.] Well, it's true I have a unique appreciation for Naegi-sama's hope! But I'm just a useless speck of dust, not someone worthy of being in a relationship with someone like him.
[He doesn't object to the idea of being in relationship with a guy, at least?]
[Kel steps closer, raising one hand and moving with the intent of bonking the top of the other's head (without hurting him).]
Dude. Jokes aside- stop being like this. You're not irrelevant or anything like that, sheesh. And in relationships there's no 'worth' or 'not worth', that much spaceboy comics managed to teach me. And I don't mean just 'romantic' ones.
[There isn't enough room for too many people who don't like themselves that much, Nagito, and Kel already claimed that spot]
Stickers cool, though. I do thinkg motivational stuff is great giving our unique situation.
